Boxer?
December 11, 2007 |

Lucia Rijker used to be considered
the best female boxer in the world, and the most feared. But in
the last three years, that has changed. Since winning her first
World Title against “Road Warrior” Terri Blair exactly three
years to this date, here at Isleta Casino and Resort, Holm has
gone on a rampage of literally dismantling all her foes.

(SEPT 22) A few questions
were answered Friday night at Santa Anan Star Casino Friday night. Is Holm still
New Mexico's top draw? The answer is yes; 2560 paid fans showed up to support
Holm and other New Mexico fighters on the card. Is more than just a fighter who
gets on her bicycle and outpoints opponents? No, Holm showed she could stand
flat footed and punch toe-to-toe. Does Holm have a solid chin?

Press Release |

First, I would
like to thank all the fans that have supported women's boxing.
It is very different from men's boxing. If you told me 10 years
ago that a female would be the star of my stable, I would have
said you were crazy. In a recent press release, Mary
Jo Sanders’ team claimed they had offered Holly Holm a fight. It
is just a flat out LIE! I have never spoken to anyone from the
Sanders’ camp. We would have no problem fighting Sanders. They
have done a good job on promoting her and putting her with the
right opponents. We would welcome a fight with her, if the price
is right.
